Terms & Conditions

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for buying from ( MarkatStore | ماركات ستور ) by Al-Bahar Electronics. As our valued customer, we would like to inform you of the terms and conditions of your purchase of goods from us.

We would like to state that we are compliant with the criteria governing refunds and exchanges as set forth by the Ministry of Commerce, Kuwait.  Important points to note are:

  1. Sold products could be exchanged or refunded, but must be returned in their original packaging with the same sale condition and along with accompanying accessories (if any) within 15 days of delivery or receipt by the customer.
  2. Serial-sealed products like mobile phones cannot be refunded after actual usage unless manufacturing defects exist.
  3. A refund or exchange on an opened product is applicable only if both of the below criteria are met:
  • The claim is within 15 days of delivery and receipt by the customer, and the customer can present the original invoice.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect or is dead on arrival.
  1. A refund or exchange after 15 days from the date of delivery or receipt by the customer is not applicable due to a lack of space or any other reason that is entirely customer-dependent and irrelevant to us.
  2. The refund method shall be identical to the payment method. Payments through credit cards will be refunded directly to the credit card, and payments made with cash will be refunded in cash.
  3. Refunds made on K-Net, MasterCard, MIGS, or Visa may take up to 4 weeks.
  4. The original manufacturer warranty shall apply to products as applicable. 
  5. In the case of a safe box repair request, the customer must sign an obligation letter authorizing the service center to repair the product without carrying any legal responsibility over the technician or company.
  6. The warranty does not cover any repairs for damage caused by lack of product knowledge, improper installation, self-installation, physical damage, misuse, or other repairs arranged outside the authorized service center.
  7. We are indemnified against any form of damages and/or claims arising out of any circumstance where product use has led to any form of loss or damage to self or others.
  8. We are not responsible for any form of data loss that may occur during a check-up, transfer of data, or repair of the device.
  9. The warranty shall be applicable for the period as mentioned by the brand and may vary from brand to brand.
  10. Replaced or repaired products are entitled to a residual warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period as per the original sales invoice. For example, a replaced product warranty expires on the due date as per the original; a fresh warranty is not applicable from the date of replacement.
  11. The warranty does not cover accessories, consumables, gaming CD’s, inks & toners, toys, batteries, or software.
  12. Cooling products (freezers, refrigerators, chest freezers, and water coolers) are covered in general for a 5-year warranty for compressors only. There is no extended warranty for the compressor after 5 years. Water dispensers are excluded and carry a one-year warranty only.
  13. Air conditioners manufactured by General Electric, Home Elite, and Cooline are covered by a 1-year comprehensive warranty on the unit and a 5-year years Compressor warranty from the date of invoice, excluding gas, consumables, and any non-related labor charges, provided that regular maintenance is conducted.
  14. The customer must pay all repair charges (labor fees, chemical cleaning, gas, and any other mandatory parts) at the time of replacing the compressor (part 14).
  15. Personal care products such as shavers and epilators cannot be returned once used.
  16. We reserve the right to refuse any request for a refund or exchange if any of the above criteria is not met.
  17. Delivery of an order with a value less than 20 KD will incur a 2 KD delivery charge. Zero charges will apply for orders with a value greater than 20 KD. Installation or configuration charges are not covered under the standard delivery terms and conditions.
  18. Delivery is considered complete upon receipt of the signed delivery note from any person residing at the address provided by the customer.
  19. No claims for dents or damage will be entertained after delivery.
  20. Rescheduling for the agreed delivery date can be done only 48 hours prior notice from delivery date. Special delivery conditions will be subject to additional delivery costs.
  21. Any out-of-warranty work is guaranteed for a period of one month for the same failure that it was repaired for.
  22. Products brought to the service center for repair must be collected if approved for repair within 30 days. Otherwise, the service center will not be responsible for the products and has the right to dispose of them.
  23. An installed, assembled, or delivered product may not be returned. In the event of a refusal to sign the delivery note, the product will be brought back by the delivery team.
